One of our assignments of “Wireless Networks” course is to benchmark the phone carrier’s coverage. So this morning André, Mengyao and I went to downtown to measure LTE and HSDPA in different points of the city, Mengyao with AT&T and André with T-Mobile.
It's so funny that HSDPA (3G) speed is almost 10 times faster than LTE (4G). The LTE network is completely saturated and nobody uses 3G anymore.
Another funny fact. Inside the Bean the speed is almost twice as fast as next to it.
Now back to the library.
