Ski Meadows #2

Today I went back to Meadows with Iñaky, Jasone and Gabriel (the kid). We arrived at the ski resort by 8:45 but we took the getting ready part somehow with more calm. I have to say that having a season pass makes the skiing journeys way more relaxing. We started teaching Gabriel and it was a lot of fun. But at the same time it was snowing a lot. It fell 25cm in 6 hours, so after a couple of runs I went uphill with Iñaky and tried some new slopes. We got some really nice clean powder, better than yesterday. Then we joined Gabriel and Jasone again. After that a couple of more powder runs and then back home. As we were going home I thought to take a ski rest tomorrow but…there will be a lot of powder. I may have to go back. I don’t want to get to February and then regret for not taking advance for every great ski day.
I didn’t almost take pictures. I tried to shoot with the GoPro but the battery died because of the cold, despite being full early in the morning and not having it used. It was snowing so hard that I could open the camera and change the battery. Besides when I took the DSLR in the chair lift it got completely wet for shooting just 1-2 minutes. I don’t think that's very good for the lovely Canon. So patience, the no precipitation days will arrive and then I’ll shoot a ton of pics.
See ya!
